Music Fun: Color and Learn, Treble Clef [Paperback] Review

Music Fun: Color and Learn, Treble Clef [Paperback]This product is not worth the money, in my opinion. You can find coloring pages free on the Internet which will accomplish the same purpose.

I think what strikes me as especially odd is how they are kind of presenting things in an order, as if the child can learn them from this book, but they are random things at random times, with no opportunity to practice things.

Its only use is as supplementary material for very young children, and there are multiple better (and less expensive, or free) resources out there.

Contents are roughly as follows:
treble clef sign
musical staff
musical alphabet, overview (color letters C-B)
musical alphabet, detail (for each note they have a representative picture of that letter (e.g. cat for C) on one page, then a picture of the note on the treble staff on the opposing page)
musical notes to color
rest signs to color
sharp signs & flat signs to color
one-page intro to 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 time
piano keyboard with notes written on
treble staff with notes
"Now we play" section with a short beginning portion of the following songs (all on quarter notes, however) with accompanying picture to color:
Twinkle, twinkle, little star
Three blind mice
Mary had a little lamb
My country, 'tis of thee
Jingle bells
